Claire is making a star shape with her right leg standing on the ground and the left at a perpendicular position off the ground. Her mouth is wide open and one of her harm carries dried cow parsley all other. She's standing in the middle of Hackney Marshes at the end of the summer when the grass has turned yellow and dry.

I offer indoors and outdoors movement classes and workshops.

Rooted in Amerta movement, the focus is on:

    • embodied awareness
    • organic approach to movement
    • spontaneous expression
    • the cultivation of a deep, embodied connection with nature
The bottom of two legs and their feet are walking on a tree trunk lying on the ground. There are trees and dried grass nearby and in the distance.

Join me for guided walks where we explore the intersection of urban spaces and nature.

These walks are about engaging fully with the sensory experiences of both the natural and built environments around us.

They are aimed to develop nature connection and embodied presence in the urban context.

It's the height of summer in Hackney Marshes and all the wild carrots are in bloom and really abundant that year. There is a full field of them. Claire's head is showing in the middle as she is fully immersed in them as if swimming in their ocean.

In these group sessions, you will learn to tune into plants as teachers and allies.

Through mindful interaction and deep listening, we develop a dialogue with the plant world, opening our senses to their subtle energies.

This practice beautifully complements movement practices in dialogue with the landscape.
