Plant kinship circle
17 March, 16 April, 15 May,
16 June, 14 July, 12 August,
London Fields, E8 3PA
6.30 – 8 pm
Spring unfolds and plants emerge into the light, primrose, nettle, dandelion, cleavers, elderflower, rose, mugwort and many others. We gather each month to connect with one of them intuitively—listening, sensing, and moving in dialogue with its presence as a group.
These sessions offer a space to slow down, sense deeply, and engage with plants as living presences—through direct encounters, embodied practice, or quiet observation. As the months turn from the tender stirrings of early spring to the fullness of summer, we explore how plants guide us in our own unfolding.
At the heart of these gatherings is a growing community of like-minded people who recognise that the more-than-human world is not here for us to use, but to be in relationship with. This is a space to honour plants as equal beings, to listen and learn from them, and to share our individual experiences of connection in a circle of mutual respect and curiosity.
What to Expect
- Quiet, intuitive dialogue with plants
- Meeting them not as objects of study, but as living presences with their own wisdom to share
- Each session focuses on a different plant
- One or several doorways will be used to meet the plant such as sensory tea, the live plant, smudging, infused oil, or hydrosol.
- Rather than learning through books or external knowledge, you will explore direct experience—tuning into the subtle qualities of each plant through embodied movement, sensory awareness, and deep listening.
- This is a space to slow down, shift perception, and engage with plants as teachers, guides, and kin.
- This is not about ‘getting’ something from plants—it’s about meeting them on their own terms, listening with humility, and allowing their presence to shape and inform your own unfolding.

Who is it for?
These gatherings are open to all who feel called to explore a deeper, more reciprocal way of relating to plants. Rather than seeing them as objects of study, resources, or remedies for human use, we approach plants as teachers, companions, and kin—honouring their presence as equal beings with their own wisdom to share.
No prior experience is needed, only curiosity and a willingness to listen.
