Some of the sessions blew my mind and opened me up to a different way of being in my world. I began to learn how to feel my questions in my body instead of old prison-like ways. It is hard to describe with words how revelatory and expanding that was.’

Stella, gardener

Her facilitation held space for the unknown, for play, and for honest inquiry — which in turn helped me access deeper layers of knowing and expression that I hadn’t anticipated.’

Sophia, somatic practitioner

When you move, you think with the world.

When you think, you move with the world.

Not I think therefore I am but

I move, we are.

The world thinking through us.

Us thinking through the world.

The self is constantly being reconfigured — through movement, through the environment, through others. In the lab, we enter into dialogue between inner and outer worlds. Through this process of constant co-creation, fresh perspectives on ourselves can emerge — surprising discoveries that could not have been reached alone.

We experiment and explore the body as an intelligent, sensing, relational presence.

No technique to follow.
No style to acquire.
No right way to move.
No outcome to produce.

What to expect

You may arrive with a question, a creative project, or simply a sense that something is waiting to emerge. Over ten weeks, movement becomes a way of thinking, listening and discovering — a way of knowing in itself.

The group supports everyone’s own process and amplifies what each person discovers alone in ways that are impossible to replicate solo.

The surrounding environment and many everyday objects also become collaborators in everyone’s own process.

The arc of the lab

• Over the first 8 weeks, you will expand your movement vocabulary and develop environmental awareness, showing how the living surroundings are always shaping and informing your individual creative process.

• In the 9th week, each person shares the current state of their inquiry through movement — a moment of crystallisation rather than completion. A chance to witness what has emerged and what is asking to unfold next.

• The 10th week is a time to digest, integrate, and reflect on what has emerged.

One free 1-1 movement session to deepen your individual process which you are recommended to book between weeks 5 and 8, before the crystallisation.

Who is it for?

This lab is for artists, makers, writers, movers, thinkers, seekers or anyone who wants to explore movement as a source of insight, not just expression. You don’t need a set project or goal—just curiosity and a willingness to step into the unknown. No movement experienced needed!
